Water Meter Reading Instructions

There is no water meter at Kauppatie 26. Water and electricity are charged per person per month together with the rent.

We invoice water consumption based on actual usage approximately two weeks after we have received meter readings from all apartments.

You can report your water meter reading by clicking the link below (the form is in Finnish): Submit your water meter reading here

NOTE! The reporting form is available only for about two weeks around the turn of the month. If you try to open the form at another time, you will see the message “Survey is not available.”
This policy prevents readings from being submitted too early, for example in the middle of the month.

Residents are responsible for reading the water meters in apartments that have a traditional (non-remote) meter. The location of the meter varies between properties, but it is most often found in the bathroom. If you are unsure where your meter is located, please contact our customer service.

Residents must read the meters in the following properties:
Aapiskuja 1 + laundry fee (1 €/use)
Isovuorentie 2
Juomukkatie 2–4 (cold water only)
Kanervalantie 4 (cold water only)
Kanervalantie 6 (cold water only)
Keskustori 4
Keteläntie 29
Kriffelikuja 2 + laundry fee (1 €/use)
Leppätie 4
Lukkarintie 6 B
Palaneentie 2
Raskulantie 6
Savitie 3 (cold water only)
Valtaojantie 1 + laundry fee (1 €/use)
Valtaojantie 3 + electricity meters read by maintenance staff
Viertolantie 4

In the following properties, residents do not need to read the water meters, as these are remotely read by the property management:
Keteläntie 20, Lauroselankuja 10 & 12, Nikkolantie 5, Ratsumiehentie 3 & 5, Sompatie 1 and Tuoresluomantie 1.

Please note that water meters must be read on December 31, and the readings must be submitted to the property management.
If the readings are not provided, the maintenance staff will take the reading, and a fee of 40 € per visit will be charged to the tenant.

Water usage will be billed according to consumption approximately two weeks after all readings have been submitted.

Instructions for Reading the Meter

In apartments with electric heating, only the cold water meter needs to be read. Other apartments also have a hot water meter. If your apartment has only one water meter, you only need to report that reading.

Water meters usually have red and blue plastic indicators attached to the pipe.

  • Blue indicates cold water

  • Red indicates hot water.

You can confirm this by touching the pipe.

On the meter, full cubic meters are typically shown in black numbers on a white background. These may be followed by smaller numbers on a red background, or red numbers, which indicate liters. Meters may differ in appearance, and not all displays are the same. If you’re unsure about how to read the meter, feel free to send a photo of it to our customer service — we’re happy to help.

Please report only the full cubic meters!
For example:

  • If the meter reads 345,687, report 346.

  • If it reads 287,256, report 287.

You do not need to report the decimal part (liters).

Note: Some meters may not display decimal places at all — this is completely normal.
